What do you do as a mom of 7 in the middle of a global pandemic where millions are out of work?
You teach your children how to open up a business that creates a solution.
The course is now live!!!
The power of your eyes and smile in today’s world asserts more meaning than yesterday's handshake.
Remember the days when business experts spent tireless hours gathering data, producing articles and mountains of evidence that a person’s first impression of someone was highly impacted by the grip of their handshake?
Well, if you change the last word “handshake” to “eye contact and smile” the very same research, articles and data are now applicable to our world today.
What is in the power of the eye contact and smile in today’s world?
The eyes are the heart of the soul. How firmly you hold your grip, is now spoken through the gaze of the eye.
-In a virtual or in-person world, intentionally capturing eye contact and holding it for slightly a moment longer produces a feeling of genuine interest and creates a memorable first impression.
The smile is the breath of your authenticity. Your presence and energy are now conveyed with posture and a smile of genuine sincerity.
-In a virtual or in-person world, feeling gratitude for meeting someone for the first time can convey a genuine smile and a feeling of genuine happiness for someone else’s presence.
If you have never paid attention to the power of your eye contact or genuine smile, try it! In your next in-person conversation with anyone, keep eye contact and interest for just a moment longer and feel genuine thanks for this person. See how it feels! It’s amazing how intentionally managing our eyes, heart of gratitude and smile can connect us in a much firmer way as the way of the past, the good ol’ handshake.
What do you get with a Film & TV student, a mom, a pandemic and a mission to help people get back to work? My Resume Reel.
Does a video resume enhancement really help a job seeker? YES!
There are just some things that you cannot convey in a paper resume that YOU, and a short video of you can.
What type of energy do you bring to a room? How powerful are you as a speaker? Presenter? How do you make a people feel when you are speaking to them?
Leadership, Presentation Delivery, Voice, Power, Presence, Personality, Persona, Mental Strength, Energy, Demeanor and Relatability are all conveyed in a visual, voice enhancement to your resume.
Are you ready to see the crowds build in the Great Job Search Flood of 2020?
Do you see this picture? Do you see the rider in front? Now, look deeper, do you see the pack that is hot on his tail?? It’s about to get real in 2 weeks.
The race is about to get heated and I have a question. Where in the pack, are you?
Right now, browsing, applying and the chance at an interview is not easy but it’s a lot easier than it will be in 3-4 weeks.
In two weeks July will be over and the $600 per week unemployment checks are set to stop. If there is not a new supplemental plan in place the next round of social media posts will be of those who are desperately trying to find work. It may even be scary for many.
But, if you have spent your time preparing, hunting, researching and already have developed a daily plan of executing your own job search, you will remain in front.
If you have not began your own race to find work, if you have not spent time learning about yourself and what you have to offer verse the mass of others who are and will be looking for work, I recommend you get busy and do it, now. Or else, you may be just another rider in sea of bicycles trying to just catch up with who’s in front.
Start your race. Today.

As a Fortune 500 Hiring Manager who has hired and promoted hundreds of business professionals from entry-level to leadership roles, I have to tell you a secret.
Here it is. The most influential components of an interview process that tell a hiring manager to hire or not to hire you, are controlled by YOU.
What are these “components?”
Your first impression, your personal energy. How you make them and others in the room “feel.”
How you convey what you have done. Are you confident and knowledgeable?
Your personality fit. Does your personality match the team and role they are looking to fill.
A hiring manager has already “picked you” for the role from what you have done. It’s how you make them feel and how they can see your persona in this role that helps them seal the deal.

A reel helps! It creates a scenario where a recruiter can see who you are, hear you speak and relate to you at the same time that they are reading your resume. It makes liking you and picking you as a final candidate easier because they can relate to the type of person that you are.
I am open to work with what people can afford, my goal is to just help as many people as I can get back to work. If this solution is one that will work for you, I can meet you where you are at and we can work together to get you in that newly found job role!

Emily’s and my connection was a complete fluke. During the early days of the COVID-19 shut down, I had a message in my LinkedIn inbox from a lady who was applauding my presentation from earlier that day, which occurred in a virtual job-seeking event. The only thing was, I was not the presenter. It was a different Anne.
Our conversation lead into what positions she was seeking to find, how her experience in lock-down on the outskirts of NYC was going and how I was working on a resume enhancement to allow job seekers to gain more visibility. I asked if she would like to be a tester of the process? She accepted!
Emily ended up being a huge voice of feedback during the making of the white-glove and My Resume Reel™ programs. She was devoted to testing out the processes and providing candid feedback as to what worked and did not. Emily has been fortunate enough to find work during these uncertain times, however, I wanted to share her and her reel with you because she is just an amazing person and her efforts are part of what made this process a reality to help so many.
Here is what a home-made reel looks like with the polish of our editors.
What is My Resume Reel™
The end result is a 30-60 second video that highlights the value that YOU bring to business.
The get there, My Resume Reel™ takes you through a process of introspection, one that guides you through the thought process of what is your unique value in business and what do you have to offer to a company who is hiring?
Once you key in to what your business "super power" is, we help you make that statement in the most concise format and guide you on how to record, edit and post your statement.
Our customers have shared that this experience goes beyond creating a video into promoting a sense of preparedness, confidence and empowerment to move forward in the job seeking process.
The difference of a My Resume Reel™ graduate and any other job seeking candidate is that they know exactly who they are in business, what they have to offer and begin to ask themselves if a job is a match for them instead of "am I a match for this job?"
What is the purpose of My Resume Reel™
The Job seeker shares WHO I am - or - What type of person that they are in business.
The Recruiter gets to see what type of person the job candidate is before ever making contact.
How does the Job seeker post and the Recruiter see a reel? It's simple. Once the video is made, the Job Seeker chooses which platform that they want to post their video to, with or without password, and puts the link on their resume and social media sites for recruiters to click and view at any time.
